Hi, I'm Annelise! 

I'm a chemical educator who is passionate about all things fiber arts. By day, I teach introductory college chemistry and biochemistry courses, where I particularly enjoy developing dye-focused  demonstrations, case studies and laboratory activities. By night (and during the summers), I knit, quilt, embroider and needlepoint, while working to develop classes and teaching tools that communicate the science of fibers and dyes to crafters of all backgrounds.
